O rings keep it cool. It can be installed on a limited class engine and will show positive gains. Your engine is robbed of hp when the air that has just gone they the inter cooler is now going thru a hot intake to raise the air temps back up. It can be installed on a full blown pro class engine and will show positive gains.

The amount of horse power gained is relative to temperature of the air interning the combustion chambers. This part is designed to keep the engine heat from transferring to the intake plenum. Make more horse power. The engine creates heat.

Kit includes rogue racing heat barrier. Every 10 degrees down in air temp is 1 hp gained. It's a tight fit.
